Former exotic equity derivatives trader at Goldman Sachs, Eric Barthe is now the General Manager of Maverix Securities Europe and Head of Structuring at Maverix AG.
He produces research and teaches structured products and derivatives to final‑year students and professionals around the world.

Lionel Lemarié

DEPUTY GENERAL MANAGER

Experience

Financial product sales and marketing specialist with over 25 years of experience in asset management firms, covering all asset classes and both retail and institutional markets.
Previously Business Development Director at La Française Group.
Partner and co-founder of asset management firms (Mandarine Gestion, CCR Actions).
Responsible for the development of the Maverix Securities (Europe) SAS franchise across the MiFID market.

Experience

Over 20 years of experience in financial markets (Structured Products, Equity Derivatives, Fixed Income, Corporate Finance).
Former Head of the Short Term Sales team and Continental Europe coordinator at TP ICAP Europe SA, responsible for the development strategy in the money market and short-term credit.
Former Head of Structured Products Sales at Man Financial for the European market (France, Benelux, Middle East).

Experience

Graduate of EDHEC Business School, with 3 years of experience in structured products, including positions at BNP Paribas CIB and Leonteq.
Experience as a Sales & Structuring Analyst at IVM Markets (structured products fintech) covering the Middle East region.
Joined Maverix Securities (Europe) SAS in 2025.

Experience

Graduate of the Master’s program in Global Economic Transformation and Technology (GETT) at EDHEC Business School, after two years of preparatory classes at Saint-Jean de Douai.
International studies at Sungkyunkwan University (Seoul) and UC Berkeley (California).
Worked on the cross-asset structured products desks at Kepler Cheuvreux Solutions and Deutsche Bank.
